DOC Toronto presents a TIFF Special: Frederick Wiseman: Master Filmmaker, in conversation with Kevin McMahon
The DOC Toronto Masters' Series is proud to announce an upcoming Master Class with Frederick Wiseman, "one of today's greatest living documentary filmmakers"(Phillipe Pilard, La Sept/Arte). The American filmmaker has created some of the most affecting and renowned observational documentaries of the past 40 years, such as Highschool, Titicut Follies, and Near Death, among many others.
Wiseman will be in Toronto for the premiere of his latest film, CRAZY HORSE, at TIFF. On Sunday, September 11th, he will take time out of his festival schedule to talk to fellow filmmakers. Using clips from his films, Wiseman will discuss the process, philosophy, and challenges of an astonishing career in documentary in conversation with Gemini Award-winning Canadian filmmaker Kevin McMahon.
